Requirements

Must have:

- This role follows a hybrid working model, requiring 2--3 days per week in the Johannesburg office. - 6--9 years of relevant experience - Proficient coding in Python, with excellent knowledge of frameworks like Django/Flask - Experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API services - Experience working in an English-speaking environment - Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills - Knowledge of optimization for maximum speed and scalability - Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests - Experience with data migration, transformation, and scripting - Basic understanding of frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue - Knowledge of CI/CD practices - Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements - Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements
