Software Developer

Requirements

Must have:

- This role is fully remote. You can work from anywhere in South Africa. - 4+ years experience working as a software developer - Experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API services - Experience working in an English speaking environment - Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills - Proficient knowledge of one or more: PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, Go, Scala etc. - Nice to have: Knowledge of frontend Javascript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue - Nice to have: Knowledge of CI/CD practices - Nice to have: Familiarity working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability - Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests - Perform data migration, transformation, and scripting
