Intermediate Backend Engineer - Cape Town

We are looking for an intermediate backend engineer with 4-5 years of relevant backend development experience.

• We require experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API services.

• We value experience working in an English-speaking environment.

• We are looking for an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.

• We expect experience developing backend systems.

• We require experience in one or more of the following: Node.js, Java, Ruby, PHP, Python, etc.

• We need the ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into a single system.

• Nice to have: knowledge of CI/CD practises.

• Nice to have: familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• We develop and support software, including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.

• We collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
