Job description

This is an opportunity to join a growing Data Science function at a pivotal moment, with strong senior backing and a clear focus on building production-ready models that drive real commercial impact. You will play a key role in shaping how Data Science is used across customer-focused initiatives, moving beyond ad-hoc analysis into scalable, repeatable solutions., * Work hands-on alongside the Data Science Lead and another Data Scientist to build and scale customer-focused models.

  • Take ownership of end-to-end Data Science projects from problem definition through to deployment.
  • Develop and productionise models across use cases such as customer segmentation, lifetime value modelling, demand forecasting, and targeted campaigns.
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of a new Data Science platform and best practices.
  • Partner closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and commercial stakeholders to ensure models are practical and impactful.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience using Python for Data Science and Machine Learning.
  • Confident working with SQL to access and manipulate data.
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end Data Science solutions, including deployment into production environments.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and explain model outputs and impact.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure is beneficial, with openness to tools like Vertex AI or Azure ML.
