Job description
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established global organisation for a Service Coordinator to join their team in Yate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and highly organised individual to provide administrative and operational support within a fast-paced service environment. You will be a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring enquiries are managed efficiently and service levels are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of customer enquiries by telephone, including urgent and emergency requests.
- Coordinate deliveries for new starters, training courses, exchanges and emergency orders.
- Act as the main liaison between customers and internal departments.
- Manage an online helpdesk, responding to queries and requests in a timely manner.
- Accurately record service activity and contribute to monthly KPI reporting.
- Prepare reports and documentation for management review and sign-off.
- Attend and support meetings with customer representatives and operational managers.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the service function.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a customer service, coordination or administrative role.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desirable
- Experience using SAP, Jira or similar systems.
- Experience working within a service, logistics or operational support environment.
