job summary: Randstad Digital is seeking a C# Application Developer for a perm role with our St. Louis, MO client.

location: Clayton, Missouri job type: Permanent salary: $95,000 - 110,000 per year work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors

responsibilities: As an Applications Developer your typical day would include:

  • Developing, testing, and maintaining custom built technology solutions residing primarily on a Microsoft platform
  • Developing new applications or changes to existing applications to satisfy business needs, new initiatives, or resolve problems
  • On smaller projects, working directly with end users to identify requirements, design, test, and implement workable solutions.
  • Providing direction to external developers on larger projects and executing technology plans for continued development and support post go-live
  • Developing and maintaining applications that support core ERP business functionality
  • Working with web services, messaging, and stored procedures
  • Operating in Microsoft Toolset and Development Standards (TFS, Visual Studio, Smart Client applications).
  • Partnering with business operations to strategize about company needs and interacting with end users to fine tune the results

qualifications: Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field

3 - 5 years of experience working as a developer

Working knowledge in the following technical areas: Microsoft.NET (C#, ASP.NET). Angular 19, HTML5.0, CSS, Microsoft SQL Server 2017 R2 and above, Web services (Microsoft WCF)

MUST 3-5+ years of Full Stack development.

MUST- Backend: C# .NET

MUST- APIs: RESTful APIs.

MUST- Frontend: HTML and Angular (they are on version 18).

Database: SQL backend databases (Must be able to write queries and understand data structures).

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

SOAP APIs.

PowerShell scripting (for simple jobs; the manager currently handles these).

PowerBuilder (used for replacing some legacy code).

Understanding of newer technologies (e.g., they recently used Azure Service Bus Messaging Queue for a tractor-trailer coding project).

Day to day:

Day-to-Day: Heads-down coding, but involves close partnership and interaction with Business Analysts to support applications.

The candidate must be able to work independently. They are encouraged to ask questions, but they need to be able to take a task and run with it.
