Job description
We are looking for a Senior OPS Security Engineer specialized in Firewall and Proxy Filtering Services to join a fast-paced Agile environment. You will play a key role in securing network flows, managing firewall requests, resolving incidents, and ensuring compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage and validate daily firewall flow requests Implement, maintain, and optimize firewall rules and policies Troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related incidents and security issues Ensure firewall configurations comply with security policies and standards Support project teams with firewall and network security expertise Perform detailed analysis for audits, reporting, and flow recertification Document configurations and maintain proper traceability Work in Agile mode and follow ITIL processes (incident & change management) Contribute to continuous improvement of security and network architecture
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in Firewall environments (mandatory)
Strong expertise in: Firewall rules implementation & optimization IPS / IDS Cloud micro-segmentation
Experience with: Palo Alto or Fortinet ServiceNow (ITSM module) Excel automation (VBA or Python)
Solid understanding of: Security principles Networking & infrastructure architecture
Certifications (preferred)
PCNSA CompTIA Network+ CCNA
Soft Skills
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail Autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented Excellent communication skills (technical & non-technical) Team player with knowledge-sharing mindset Client-oriented and results-driven Ability to work in Agile environments Flexible and open to on-call support, You have at least 5 years of professional experiences in IT You're eager to learn, motivated and curious
