Job description
Our ESG (Enterprise Support Group) team is a specialized part of our global Technical Support team. Consisting out of 2 sub-teams, Intelligent Video (IV) and Software as a Service (SaaS), the Enterprise Support Group mainly supports our commercial market and high-level projects.
When experiencing unexpected behavior regarding a Crestron system customers request Crestron's Support team to determine and resolve the problem.
Our team communicates and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement the best practices allowing our customers to make optimal use of our products. Customer satisfaction is priority number one.
In addition to this, the IV team within ESG provides a paid commissioning service, whereby IV systems are set up remotely by Crestron, based on client requirements.
As a ESG engineer within the IV division of the Enterprise Support Group, you will work with our customer base to:
- Provide support, guidance and information, both on a hardware and software level
- Commission and support our Intelligent Video systems and product line
- Take ownership of technical challenges and technical projects
- Support complex Crestron implementations
- Detect, define and fix technical issues, within the scope of the Crestron ecosystem
- Host 3 - day training sessions, educating technicians about Crestron's IV systems
Requirements
- Very good communication skills in English. Knowledge of another language is a plus;
- A bachelor's degree or equal experience in IT;
- Experience with Crestron programming, Crestron Certified Programmer or equal experience is a plus;
- Experience with intelligent video or smart camera systems is a plus;
- Experience with customer facing role is a plus.
You have significant interest in home automation and automatic control systems. You are a hands-on, problem-solving, analytical mind, with a customer and commercial mindset. As a well-organized team player, you are eager to learn and continuously improve your knowledge. You have a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
