We're partnering with an established technology team that supports one of Belgium's largest energy organisations on a long-term programme focused on AI innovation.

About the Role
As an AI Engineer, you'll help design and build AI-driven solutions that support critical energy operations. You'll work on projects involving machine learning, large language models, predictive analytics, and intelligent software solutions for real-world industrial applications, including power generation and forecasting.
The role
- Develop and deploy AI and machine learning solutions for production environments.
- Build applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks.
- Develop software primarily in Python.
- Work with predictive models and data-driven solutions for energy and industrial use cases.
- Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and software developers in an agile environment.
- Contribute to cloud-based AI solutions and MLOps initiatives where applicable.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in software engineering or AI development.
- Good Python development skills.
- Practical knowledge of AI, machine learning, and/or Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Understanding of software engineering best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an advantage.
- Experience with data engineering, MLOps, or deploying AI models is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Enthusiasm for solving complex problems and learning new technologies.
