What you do
- Empower teams as a servant leader: Actively support and empower the Development Team and the Product Owner to reach their development and product goals. You help to define clear decision boundaries, processes, remove impediments, and build absolute alignment, intervening only when risk or strategic alignment requires it.
- Focus on delivering outcomes on schedule: Help teams maintain relentless focus on their sprint and product goals. Guide them to concentrate on key quality inputs so they can deliver high-value outcomes on schedule, ensuring team success is measured by the actual impact of their delivery rather than just effort.
- Drive organizational evolution and learning: Actively lead, train, and coach the wider organization in its agile adoption. Propagate a culture of continuous learning, evolution, and self-reflection by helping teams respectfully challenge assumptions, share the "why" behind changes, and manage uncertainty.
- Decide with data and communicate with clarity: Help teams define and measure meaningful metrics to increase transparency. Encourage data-driven self-correction, enabling the team to base decisions on measurable evidence and adjust path smoothly when new facts emerge.
- Collaborate and exchange knowledge: Partner with other Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, Team Leads or Head ofs across the organization. Leverage diverse perspectives, exchange practices, and work to continuously optimize organizational design and team topologies., * An agile champion who earns trust: You live the Agile values and mindset. You build an open culture by listening attentively, speaking candidly, and treating everyone with respect. You promote healthy debate, help teams disconfirm personal biases and beliefs, and champion a "Disagree and Commit" approach to unite the team behind shared decisions.
Requirements
- A proven Scrum Master and scaling practitioner: You have 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach. You have a deep understanding of (scaling) Agile frameworks, with a strong preference for LeSS (Large-Scale Scrum). Experience with Org Topologies to design highly adaptive, customer-centric organizational ecosystems is a huge plus.
- A deep-diving coach, ideally with a software background: You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience, and have hands-on software development experience. This allows you to dive deep into technical details with the team, identifying opportunities and risks analytically.
- An action-oriented organizational catalyst: You possess a strong bias for action, understanding that speed and adaptability matter in development. You can easily navigate trade-offs, making decision boundaries transparent to foster healthy collaboration.
- A flexible collaborator: You are looking for a hybrid work model (work from home is highly supported), with regular office presence to facilitate team collaboration, sprint boundaries, or shared physical workshops.
