Job description
You are able to spread the importance of system integration and testing, and know how to balance rigid processes with an agile young company. Therefore, you will work with different disciplines in the company, from manufacturing to project managers, and ensure that the development team is aligned on the integration and test process. As a Senior/Lead Test Engineer, you will be focused on defining company-wide testing processes, system-level testing strategies, managing individual direct reports, and doing hands-on testing yourself when time permits.
As part of the team, you will be contributing mainly to:
- Defining project-level testing strategies
- Improving the test engineering way of working
- Managing the progress and growth of fellow test engineers/ direct reports
- Creating clear test plans and dedicated test cases
- Clarifying requirements for the tests with the engineers
- Executing and overseeing tests and their planning
- Being thorough and detail-oriented in test execution and reporting

Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical or Electrical Systems Engineering.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional integration and testing experience of multidisciplinary products.
- At least 2 years of experience directly managing or coaching test engineers
- Been responsible for delivering complex mechatronic systems to market
- Have coordinated with regulatory compliance or external testing partners
- Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English
As a testing professional, you have extensive experience with standard methods such as:
- Risk assessments (FMEA/ TRA)
- Methods for requirement management and configuration management
- Various testing methods (Environmental/ HALT/ user validation/ Integration/ Regression testing)
- Analysing and quantifying test results
- Root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa)
And as a hands-on technical engineer, you can work with and define test tooling through:
- Basic scripting/ Linux experience (Bash, Python, MATLAB)
- Measurement tooling (sensor) selection, basic data acquisition and processing
It would also be a nice bonus if you
- Experience with EMC testing
- Experience with HIL and/or SIL testing.
- Experience with CE, and FCC certification
- More advanced test automation frameworks and software development (Git) would be nice to have.
