Job description

We are looking for a Golang Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Go (Golang), API development, database design, and cloud-native application development., Backend Development

  • Backend Development particularly in-depth understanding of MySQL, AWS.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Go (Golang).
  • Build scalable and high-performance microservices.
  • Develop RESTful APIs.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.

System Design

  • Understand the application architecture and technical design.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Cloud & Deployment

  • Containerize applications using Docker.
  • Deploy and manage services in Kubernetes environments.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.

Collaboration

  • Work closely within the team of Developers, Product Managers.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Requirements

Core Requirements

  • Golang
  • AWS
  • 4+ years of professional experience with Go (Golang)., * Concurrency using Goroutines & Channels
  • Interfaces and Generics (DataModelling)
  • Able to write Unit and Integration tests

API Development

  • REST API development
  • JSON and HTTP protocols
  • API authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth)

Databases

Experience with one or more:

  • MySQL/PostgreSQL
  • AWS RDS and Aurora

Software Engineering

Strong understanding of:

  • Data structures
  • Algorithms
  • Object-oriented and modular design principles
  • Design patterns
  • Unit and integration testing

DevOps & Tools

  • Git

Practical

  • Hybrid working in Amsterdam
