Job description

  • We design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure on AWS.
  • We automate deployment and scaling of cloud-based applications using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • We manage Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments and automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerised applications.
  • We use Helm to package and deploy Kubernetes applications and manage Helm charts for microservices.
  • We build, deploy, and manage Docker containers for application development, testing, and deployment.
  • We set up, configure, and manage AWS API Gateway to expose and manage APIs.
  • We develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
  • We implement monitoring solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools, and troubleshoot production issues.
  • We secure our cloud infrastructure using IAM roles and policies, encryption, and regular security assessments.
  • We work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and IT teams to define infrastructure needs, support software releases, and maintain documentation.

Requirements

  • We require active SC Clearance.
  • We are looking for strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.
  • We need proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters and deploying containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including multi-cluster environments and troubleshooting.
  • We need strong knowledge of Helm for packaging and deploying Kubernetes applications, including complex charts for microservices architectures.
  • We require hands-on experience with Docker for building, managing, and deploying containers, including Docker Compose and container orchestration within Kubernetes.
  • We are looking for experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, with knowledge of automated testing, code linting, and security checks.
  • We need hands-on experience configuring and managing API gateways, particularly AWS API Gateway, including API security, throttling, and monitoring.
  • We require proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and experience automating infrastructure tasks using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • We are looking for experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
  • AWS certifications are a plus.
