Job description
- Design, build, and support scalable infrastructure solutions in Azure.
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform in a DevOps environment.
- Drive adoption of Kubernetes (AKS) and containerised applications.
- Design and manage CI/CD workflows for infrastructure deployment.
- Implement observability and monitoring with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and Open Telemetry.
- Champion security and compliance by embedding policies into Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD processes.
- Support migrations into Azure and contribute to the platform roadmap.
- Act as a subject matter expert, mentor colleagues, and liaise with external vendors when required.
- Collaborate closely with product and development teams in an Agile environment.
- Contribute to projects and embed automation and security by design.

- Windows, We are working with a leading organisation undergoing significant digital transformation, and we are looking for an experienced Azure Platform Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Platform Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and evolve a modern Azure cloud environment, working with cutting-edge technologies while supporting enterprise-scale operations. We offer a hands-on role with the chance to work across a broad range of technologies including SaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, storage, and security.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience working as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
- 6+ years in infrastructure engineering or support roles, including Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code in a DevOps environment.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker.
- Familiarity with Azure hub-and-spoke architecture, networking, identity and access management, and security best practices.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, including release, deployment, and change management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and lead when required.
