Job description

The Systems Support Administrator role is a varied position combining office administration with first-line support for the company's in-house systems and applications. The role will involve supporting purchasing, product data, stock administration and routine office tasks, alongside helping users with system queries, testing application changes, and monitoring support tickets. This position would suit someone with strong organisational and administrative skills, good attention to detail, and an interest in developing their technical knowledge. Full training will be provided., · Purchasing Support: Work closely with the team to raise new purchase orders and liaise with our suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

· Product Data Admin: Create new product records and maintain existing product data, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. Record and update image licence details against relevant products.

· Stock Administrative Support: Updating customer forecasts, receiving in stock and transferring it on the system.

· General Office Support: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including printing picklists, labels, and mail merges.

· E-commerce Support: Assist the eCommerce team with website and marketplace support where required.

Systems Support

· Technical Support: Provide first-line support for our company's in-house applications, escalating issues where appropriate and resolving problems in a timely manner.

· Application/Report Testing: Test changes that have been made to applications and Excel refreshable reports prior to them being released to the end users.

· User Maintenance: Create users on our in-house applications, and request user access from the IT department where appropriate for other software.

· Change Requests: Log and track any application and report change requests.

· Issue Tracking: Log and track any application and report issues.

· Documentation: Create and update user guides and write release notes for application releases.

Requirements

· Strong organisational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise and manage your own workload.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional approach.

· A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify issues and seek effective solutions.

· Willingness to learn new systems, develop new skills, and adapt to changing priorities.

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and common IT applications, particularly Excel.

· Good numeracy skills and confidence working with data.

· Strong attention to detail when managing administrative tasks, product information, records, and documentation.

· Relevant qualifications, training, or practical experience in administration, or technical support.

Desirable

· Previous experience in an office administration, purchasing, eCommerce, or technical support role.

· Experience using Microsoft Excel formulae, including lookups and other functions to manage or analyse data.

· Experience with Amazon Seller Central, stock management systems, ERP systems, or similar business software.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
