Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions across various platforms.   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and VBA.
  • Design and implement APIs and RESTful services to facilitate seamless integration across systems.
  • Manage version control using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git to maintain code integrity.
  • Develop front-end components for user interfaces with a focus on usability and responsiveness.
  • Utilise cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for deployment and infrastructure management.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members to uphold coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software development with a strong portfolio of application projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of front-end development frameworks and libraries such as JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
  • Proficiency in server-side programming languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and VBA.
  • Hands-on experience with database management systems like MySQL and SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and Git.
  • Experience deploying applications on cloud services like AWS and Azure.
  • Solid understanding of APIs (RESTful services), Linux operating systems, and application security best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile environments with excellent communication skills.
