Tester (Informatica)

Design and execute end-to-end test strategies for ETL and Data Warehouse systems

Validate data migration from SAS to Informatica ETL pipelines

Perform data validation between source and target systems ensuring data accuracy and completeness

Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for ETL workflows

Develop SQL queries and validation scripts using Oracle to verify data transformations

Use UNIX Shell Scripting for test automation, job validation, and log analysis

Conduct system integration testing (SIT), regression testing, and UAT support

Identify, log, and track defects; perform root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams

Validate data quality, reconciliation, and business rules across warehouse layers

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer with strong experience in ETL and Data Warehouse testing using Informatica PowerCentre, Oracle, and UNIX Shell Scripting.

The role will play a critical part in validating data migration from SAS-based ETL processes to Informatica, ensuring accuracy, quality, and reliability of enterprise data pipelines.

The required skill set-including Informatica PowerCentre (v10.6 preferred), Oracle, UNIX Scripting, and SAS exposure for ETL migration-is aligned with current project demands., Strong experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing

Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCentre (v10.6 preferred)

Solid experience with Oracle SQL for data validation and testing

Experience in UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting

Proven ability to perform data reconciliation and transformation validation

Experience in testing batch processing and ETL pipelines

Desirable Skills:

Working knowledge of SAS (statistical analysis system)

Experience in validating SAS to Informatica migration projects

Familiarity with data modelling concepts (dimensional models, star schema)

Experience with test management tools (eg, HP ALM, Jira)

Exposure to data quality frameworks and governance controls
