Job description
- Lead system design activities across the full engineering lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Develop innovative solutions from concept through to delivery.
- Work closely with customers to understand requirements and shape technical solutions.
- Support bids, research activities and technology development programmes.
- Manage technical risks and ensure projects meet performance, quality and delivery objectives.
- Contribute to equipment trials, integration activities and rapid prototyping where required.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Proven Systems Engineering experience across the product development lifecycle.
- Experience leading technical teams or acting as a technical authority.
- Knowledge of sensor systems and RF communications.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Current SC Clearance.
- Experience in Electronic Warfare (EA, ES, ECM, ESM or RF Cyber) would be highly beneficial.
- Experience with Software Defined Radios (SDR) would be highly beneficial.
- Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) would be highly beneficial.
- Experience with FPGA technologies would be highly beneficial.
- Experience with RF systems and antennas would be highly beneficial.
- Experience with open architectures such as SOSA, OpenVPX, MORA, OpenCPI or STICS would be highly beneficial.
- Experience with Agile, SAFe, Waterfall or Spiral delivery methodologies would be highly beneficial.
- Experience with technical risk and RAID management would be highly beneficial.
