Job description

KBR's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this role, you will provide end-user IT support that enables daily operations and mission success., * Provide desktop, peripheral, and user access support for office personnel, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, printers, and standard business applications.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with IT policies and security requirements.
  • Respond to service desk tickets, diagnose technical problems, and resolve or appropriately escalate issues.
  • Track IT assets, support equipment moves and upgrades, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Requirements

Required

  • Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
  • Experience providing hands-on IT support in a desktop or service desk environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and basic network issues.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and common productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Familiarity with user account management, permissions, and directory services (e.g., Active Directory).
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Experience documenting technical issues, resolutions, and procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong customer service skills.

Desired

  • Previous experience supporting a government or defense contractor environment.
  • Familiarity with basic server administration or endpoint management tools.
