Job description
Southern California is ideal to accomodate occassional in person meetings and installs but 90% WHF.
Responsibilities:
Size, architect, and design data protection, disaster recovery, and scale out storage solutions for a variety of workloads and clients.
Operationalize new products and processes to meet customer demand, improve service sla's, and minimize availability and recoverability gaps.
Provide an escalation path for L1, L2, and L3 support engineers.
Work with customers directly to solve the most challenging design and support issues.
Speak with customers to understand their issue and provide the necessary information and action plan to set them at ease.
Automate collection of backup system health status, backup and recovery jobs, and general health of the backup and recovery environment.
Automate repeatable tasks and processes
Monitor backup system status, identify issues that require attention, troubleshoot, and resolve.
Monitor performance, identify issues, troubleshoot, and resolve.
Troubleshoot outages and perform root cause analysis.
Configure access using a least privileged approach, audit, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Communicate upgrade and rollback plans and execute upgrades.
Communicate with clients, understand their needs and build trust.

Requirements
A support engineer who's passionate about learning and capable of providing outstanding customer service. You will work directly with a variety of customers to understand their challenges and help them resolve issues. You'll have the opportunity to work on complex technical issues and develop a deep understanding of data protection., Git/Version Control
