Senior Network Security Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer for a Contract with a client in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable network architectures while aligning with enterprise security strategies and Zero Trust models., Design and implement secure, scalable network and security architectures aligned with enterprise and Zero Trust strategies. Configure and manage network security technologies including Aruba, Arista, Juniper switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and DLP solutions. Lead end-to-end network architecture initiatives ensuring high availability, performance, and resilience across global environments. Translate business requirements into technical designs and deliver comprehensive security solutions. Develop and maintain network security roadmaps, including micro-segmentation and WAN optimization strategies. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance while ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in network security and enterprise infrastructure environments. Strong hands-on expertise with Aruba, Arista, Juniper switching, firewalls, and advanced security technologies (IDS/IPS, DLP, WAN optimization).
