OASIS is DXC's internal agentic AI platform for the delivery workforce. It helps employees find trusted knowledge, complete work faster, and interact with AI agents in the flow of delivery. We're building an enterprise-grade experience that feels fast, clear, accessible, and trustworthy for teams supporting Infrastructure, Workplace, BPS, Cybersecurity, and Applications clients.
About the team
You'll join a small, cross-functional product and engineering team operating with startup energy inside a global company. We move quickly, work closely across Product, Design, Backend Engineering, AI Engineering, and delivery stakeholders, and hold a high bar for usability, accessibility, performance, and measurable user impact.
Why this role matters
The front end is where trust in OASIS is earned. You'll build the interfaces that help users understand what an AI agent can do, review recommendations, provide feedback, recover from errors, and complete work with confidence., We're looking for a Front End Engineer to build the user-facing layer of OASIS. You'll turn product requirements and design concepts into intuitive, reliable, accessible web experiences that help employees discover knowledge, manage workflows, and interact with AI agents confidently.
This is a hands-on role for an engineer who cares about product craft. You'll ship features in a modern front-end stack, contribute to reusable components and design-system patterns, collaborate tightly with design and backend teams, and help make OASIS feel fast, polished, and easy to use at enterprise scale.
What you'll do
-
Build responsive, accessible, production-quality front-end experiences for OASIS using modern web technologies
-
Translate product requirements and Figma designs into clean, reusable, well-tested UI components
-
Integrate front-end features with APIs, authentication flows, knowledge services, and agent workflow capabilities
-
Design clear AI interaction patterns, including confirmations, feedback loops, citations or source visibility, error states, and human-in-the-loop controls
-
Contribute to shared component patterns, design-system quality, code reviews, and front-end engineering standards
-
Improve performance, reliability, accessibility, and usability across browsers, devices, and enterprise environments
-
Write and maintain automated tests for components, workflows, and critical user paths
-
Collaborate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of the front-end codebase
Requirements
-
3+ years of professional front-end engineering experience building production web applications
-
Strong proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and component-based development
-
Hands-on experience with React and modern patterns for hooks, state management, routing, data fetching, and reusable components
-
Strong understanding of responsive design, semantic markup, accessibility, keyboard navigation, and inclusive UX practices
-
Comfort working with REST or GraphQL APIs, browser developer tools, Git workflows, and Agile delivery tools such as Jira
-
Experience writing unit, integration, or end-to-end tests for front-end features
-
Ability to collaborate with designers, product managers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to turn ambiguous problems into shipped product experiences
-
Curiosity about AI-powered products and a strong desire to make complex workflows feel simple, explainable, and trustworthy
Nice to have
-
Experience with Next.js, Vite, Storybook, design systems, WCAG standards, performance profiling, or front-end monitoring tools
-
Experience building AI-powered, workflow-heavy, data-rich, or enterprise SaaS applications
-
