Job description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Salesforce BA/Product Owner in Armonk, NY. Summary: We are seeking a Junior Salesforce Business Analyst/Product Owner to support Salesforce initiatives by partnering with business stakeholders, end users, and delivery teams to define, refine, and prioritize business requirements. This client-facing role requires strong communication skills, Agile experience, and a foundational understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities. The ideal candidate has experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, conducting backlog refinement sessions, creating and managing user stories, and supporting sprint demos. This individual will work closely with stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurately documented and delivered while leveraging AI-assisted tools such as watsonx orchestrate (BOB) or Salesforce Agentforce to accelerate story creation and analysis, with final review and approval responsibilities remaining with the Product Owner/BA. Key Responsibilities: Agile Product Ownership & Business Analysis:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders and end users
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with business and technical teams

Participate in Agile ceremonies including:

  • Sprint Planning
  • Backlog Refinement Sessions
  • Daily Standups
  • Sprint Reviews/Demos
  • Retrospectives
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder meetings to clarify business needs
  • Ensure stories are "ready" for development by validating requirements and dependencies

Salesforce Business Process Support:

  • Work closely with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Architects to support solution delivery
  • Understand Salesforce platform capabilities including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related business processes

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Salesforce Business Analyst
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Exposure to Salesforce platform projects and implementations
  • Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintaining product backlogs
  • Experience facilitating backlog refinement sessions and sprint demos
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, * Salesforce Administrator certification or Salesforce platform experience
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification
  • Experience using AI-assisted productivity tools such as Salesforce Agentforce, BOB, or similar solutions
  • Experience supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud environments
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or other Agile management tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
