Job description

Fidelity Digital Assets®, a Fidelity Investments Company, is developing a full-service enterprise-grade platform for storing, trading and servicing digital assets, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Our goal in Core Custody product area is to design and build a suite of digital asset services and investment applications to serve the unique and varying needs of our institutional and retail investors. You'll get the opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate across Fidelity teams and continue to learn in a fun, collaborative, iterative, and rapidly changing environment. This is a hands-on role where you will write code for product features. You will work closely with the technical lead, business development, client services and UX design teams to build intuitive and functional user interfaces. You are enthusiastic about learning and developing new skills with practical applications., * Applies critical evaluation of AI-generated output to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance

  • Uses AI to enhance documentation, knowledge sharing, and developer workflows
  • Demonstrates a continuous learning mindset in AI-driven engineering practices, * Work with product management on requirements, decompose epics into stories, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Build scalable, resilient, cloud-based systems aligned with our long-term strategy
  • Provide outstanding support, including on-call support when necessary
  • Keep up with new technologies and look for opportunities to present innovative solutions

Requirements

  • Competent in Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, and CSS/SCSS
  • Experience using Test Automation Tools and Frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress
  • Passionate about customer experience and good UX design
  • Knowledge with REST APIs
  • Basic understanding of core Java technologies
  • Preferred experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker
  • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools for code generation, refactoring, and debugging would be an advantage
  • Skills in prompt engineering to optimally guide AI tools in solving development tasks would be beneficial
  • Experience with AI-assisted test generation to enhance automation coverage and efficiency would be a plus, * A proven foundation in software engineering - bachelor's degree + preferred, 2+ years' experience
  • Possess critical thinking skills to build end-to-end solutions
  • Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks
  • Work well in both a small agile team and independently, having a strong user focus
  • Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time
  • Participate in engineering practices such as code and design reviews, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipeline
