- The candidate will also work toward software maintenance, new build capabilities, and software modernization efforts with GPUs.
- The candidate will be expected to test software, contribute to implementation of issues thatmaintainthe software for customer needs. The candidate will also be expected to learn rapidly.
Requirements
Torch Technologies is seeking a motivated Junior Level Software Engineer/Software Test Engineer candidate who has knowledgeinconfiguration management focus, test driven development, and real time development and testing., * US Citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2 years applicable software design engineering experience.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills both oral and written; exhibit the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, customer focused work environment.
- Experiencein C/C++ Software development.
- Linux Development environment.
- Git repository experience for configuration management.
- Exposure to modern development concepts.
- Software testing.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- Adaptive capability to large source code bases.
- Love for C++ modernization.
- Strong background in learning new technologies.
- Exposure to DevSecOps concepts.
- Networking knowledge.
- Exposure to signal injection for sensors.
- System software testing.
- Exposure to each level of theSoftware Development Lifecycle.
- Exposure to CUDA development for GPUs.
