Job description

  • Build and maintain responsive websites using WordPress.
  • Convert mockups and designs (from tools like Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch) into fully functional WordPress websites.
  • Collaborate with the fulfillment team (content writers, SEO analysts, designers) to implement front-end features and fixes.Style pages using clean and consistent CSS/SCSS for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins as needed.
  • Upload and format website content within WordPress.
  • Ensure high performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes and deliver pixel-perfect results.
  • Contribute creative input and challenge assumptions where appropriate.
  • Assist with occasional design tasks (e.g., layout tweaks, basic logo placement).

Requirements

Online Image is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with strong front-end development skills to join our fulfillment team. This role involves working closely with analysts, writers, and developers to build, update, and maintain websites primarily using WordPress. You should be highly proficient in HTML, CSS, JS and WordPress, with a strong eye for responsive design and detail. Bonus points for experience in PHP and plugin/theme development., * 3+ years of WordPress development experienceStrong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and responsive design principles

  • Familiarity with WordPress themes, templates, custom post types, and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)
  • Experience working with page builders (e.g., Elementor, Beaver Builder) is a plus
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch
  • Basic understanding of Git/version control
  • Comfortable using project management and CRM software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude

BONUS SKILLS (Preferred, not required):

  • Experience with WordPress plugin development
  • Familiarity with SCSS, AWS, or SEO best practices
  • Understanding of accessibility (ADA/WCAG) principles, * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Design, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent hands-on experience will be considered in lieu of formal education., * Associate (Preferred)
