Power BI Developer

This person will provide technical leadership and oversight, implement architecture recommendations, work with technical partners, and assist developers and testers as needed. The role demands significant collaboration with members of various business and IT groups throughout the lifecycle of a typical project. We work in a very dynamic agile environment., * Tech lead role who will be responsible for managing a team of developers and analysts to deliver business value by coordinating with Architects, Analysts and Product owners

• Bachelor's degree in computer science / similar technical subject area and or equivalent experience
• Experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong portfolio of built reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Hands-on PowerBI Developer.
• Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M Language), Semantic model development and custom visuals.
• Conceptual understanding of embedding reports in portal environment
• Knowledge of Power BI governance, security settings, and user access management.
• Experience with large-scale data visualization
• Understanding security roles (RLS) implementation within PowerBI
• Hands-on experience working with Snowflake data warehouse, including integration, data modeling, and SQL querying.
• Extensive experience in Data engineering, Data Modeling and Data analysis
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, etc.) and the ability to design scalable data models.
• Hands on experience with SQL & Performance Tuning in relation with Snowflake queries. Ability to work with large datasets efficiently.
• Understanding best practices and implementation of standards within Power BI reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot data or report issues.
• Experience with CI/CD for BI & Data Pipelines
• Experience with Snowflake-specific features, such as Snowflake data sharing, Snowpipe, or Snowflake Streams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure in relation to Snowflake.
• Hands on java / python skills ., * Strong problem solving & collaboration skills
• Excellent communication skills required
• Critical thinking and the ability to work in an agile environment
• Strong experience in navigating organization structure
• Strong experience in removing team's blocker
