Job description
- Develop T&E strategy, Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), requirement verification and test plans, test objectives, test methodology, and evaluation criteria
- Provide support to develop/update the Systems Integration and Test Plan (SITP) and the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP)
- Collect, review, analyze, and report T&E data; document assessments and recommendations
- Support implementation of common Test and Evaluation database for the program; integrate Digital Engineering and Environment processes
- Support T&E reviews, audits, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Deficiency Review Boards (DRBs), Materiel Improvement Process Review Boards (MIPRBs), and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs)
- Review and assess Test and Integration-related deliverables; work closely with multiple Integrated Product Teams to refine test and integration implementation of strategies
- Develop and present packages to communicate recommendations, assessment, and strategies to customers at different levels; conduct IPT meetings/reviews and collaborate with integration and test teams
- Develop and document risks and mitigation plans for systems engineering, test, and integration; use Digital Engineering and Environment tools (i.e. Jira, Confluence, etc.) for different efforts
Requirements
Required:
- Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in technical field, such as engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science. An equivalent technical degree (such as MS in technical field, such as engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science) or non-technical degree plus 2+ years of relevant technical experience may be accepted, contingent on Government approval.
- 8+ years demonstrated experience in systems engineering
- 8+ years with system test, verification, or analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Due to security requirements, work is required to be on-site in a secure facility
Desired:
- Secret or higher clearance
- MS in technical field, such as engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science
- Experience with MILSATCOM, such as AEHF, EPS, WGS, and FAB-T terminal programs
- Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients
- Experience with ground and airborne systems, such as terminals and networks
- Certifications in Systems Engineering (INCOSE ESEP, CSEP)
- Certifications in MBSE (OCSMP)
- Certifications in Agile Development
- Knowledge and experience in Jira and Confluence
Basic Compensation: $135,000 to $169,000 in El Segundo, California
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
