I am delighted to be working with a global leader in radiation detection technology for the appointment of a Senior Firmware Engineer. This client develops handheld products for medical, nuclear, defence, and security sectors with a varied range.

Education/ Experience

Essential

• Strong Arm Cortex M4 bare-metal and RTOS embedded C firmware development

• Experience of communication technologies including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB

• Experience developing peripherals including I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, ADC

Desirable

• IAR EWARM development environment

• NXP M4 and crossover processors

• Knowledge and experience of battery technology and management in handheld products

• Processor power saving modes

• Experience of working with radiation

• Embedded Linux and Yocto

• Motor control systems

• C++ and python
