Eagleview, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Geomatics Technician to our Geomatics team. A Geomatics Technician is responsible for quality control and assembly of imagery products. One of the most vital components of a technician's responsibilities is reviewing digital images and making pass or fail decisions based on image quality and accuracy. We are a fast-paced, energetic team driven by continuous process improvement. We're looking for motivated, organized, and independent team members
Responsibilities

Utilizes proprietary internal and industry standard geomatics packages to post-process raw GPS, INS, and digital image data.

Ensures that customer image quality and accuracy requirements are met by following established procedures and policies.

Builds customer deliverables.

Ongoing software training and development support.

Joins one or more special teams.

Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Associate degree or equal work experience.
-
Excellent personal computer abilities required, experience with file management, networking, databases, etc. strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience:
-
Ability to manage detail intensive data processing within given timelines.

Ability to work both independently and with a team.
-
Experience with information technology, digital imaging, physics, mathematics, management, GPS, GIS, scripting, remote sensing or administrative work would be helpful.

Experience with Windows 10 and 11.

The compensation offered to the successful candidate will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's work experience, education and licenses, work-related training, key skills, the core duties of the role and its associated responsibilities, additional benefits offered, and the location where the work will be performed. This is a full-time hybrid position based out of our Rochester, NY office with a base compensation of $17.00/per hour., $17.00
