Job description
This position provides leadership, mentorship, and workload coordination for the ESA team and serves as the first escalation point for complex issues.
Essential Job Duties
- Mentor and support ESAs across training, technical, and reporting domains.
- Coordinate workload distribution and monitor performance.
- Serve as escalation contact for complex issues.
- Represent ESA team in Epic governance and project meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned., * This position will generally sit for long periods.
- This position will travel to other clinics or locations to attend meetings and provide training.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Regularly sit while working on the computer; use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects tools or controls; repeat the same movements when entering data; ability to differentiate between colors, shades, and brightness; read from a computer screen for extended periods of time.
- Frequently stand and walk around the office to gather supplies, required to do filing, use office equipment, or collaborate with employees.
- Occasionally stand, stoop and lift or move objects, equipment and supplies weighing approximately 20-25 pounds up to 40-50 pounds.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Clinical or healthcare operations experience strongly preferred.
- Epic certification in assigned modules required.
- Minimum of 3 years Epic experience with demonstrated leadership skills required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and clinical teams.
- Basic service desk management skills preferred.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
