Job description
This position is responsible for the developing and enforcing the hospital's cybersecurity policy, and overseeing and implementing the hospital's cybersecurity program. The CISO of shall report in writing, at least annually to the hospital's governing body, on the hospital's cybersecurity program and material cybersecurity risks. Such report shall, at minimum include: the confidentiality of nonpublic information and the integrity and security of the hospital's information systems; the hospital's cybersecurity policies and procedures, including their implementation status and any recommendations for revisions; material cybersecurity risks to the hospital; overall effectiveness of the hospital's cybersecurity program; and any cybersecurity incidents involving the hospital during the time period addressed by the report, as well as steps taken to mitigate future events.
