Job description

  • Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical design and application architecture
  • Collaborate closely with SAP Functional Consultants and client teams to evaluate alternatives and recommend optimal technical solutions
  • Prepare technical specifications, diagrams, and coding logic flowcharts for enhancements, modifications, and system installations
  • Develop complex RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
  • Build and enhance applications using RAP ABAP, OData services, BADIs, User Exits, Forms, and Workflows
  • Integrate SAP systems with middleware and external systems via IDocs, APIs, Files, SOAP, and SAP Integration Suite
  • Apply advanced SAP ABAP for HANA development techniques including AMDP, CDS-based processing, and performance tuning
  • Implement key user and developer extensibility within SAP S/4HANA
  • Support testing cycles, troubleshoot defects, and ensure high-quality technical delivery

Requirements

The SAP ABAP Developer is responsible for performing complex business and system analysis, technical design, coding, and testing across current and proposed enterprise application environments. This role involves translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, collaborating with SAP Functional Consultants and client stakeholders, and preparing detailed technical documentation to support system enhancements and new implementations. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in SAP ABAP development for HANA, extensibility frameworks, and SAP integration technologies. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on development proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, enterprise project environments., * Minimum of a 2-year degree and 5 years SAP development experience OR 10 years of hands-on experience

  • Advanced proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA
  • Strong experience with RAP ABAP, OData, BADIs, User Exits, Forms, Workflows, and RICEFW development
  • Experience integrating SAP using IDocs, APIs, File-based integrations, SOAP, and SAP Integration Suite
  • Proficiency in key user and developer extensibility frameworks within SAP S/4HANA
  • Preferred: experience with SAP Core Data Services (CDS); Fiori experience is a plus
