Job description
As a permanent, full-time, Information Systems Specialist 5, you will provide technical support and administration for all desktops and technology systems across the department. In addition, you will provide secondary support for servers and networks. You will be the front line of customer service to staff throughout the agency and will work with other IT staff to resolve customer issues and needs.
Requirements
- (a) Four (4) years of information systems experience in Desktop Support., * (b) An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND Two (2) years of information systems experience in Desktop Support.
OR
- (c) A Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Special Requirements:
- To be hired, a criminal record and driving record check must be completed that meets OPRD Criteria at the time of hire, and throughout employment while also maintaining a valid driver's license.
Desired Attributes:
- Experience with Active Directory.
- Experience providing technical support for cellular technologies.
- Proficiency in desktop administration.
- Experience providing Windows desktop support remotely.
- Outstanding customer service skills with both internal and external customers.
