Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and analytical applications using Qlik Sense
  • Build and optimize data models, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes within Qlik environments
  • Develop scalable and user-friendly visualizations to support decision-making across logistics, maintenance, and readiness domains
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical dashboard solutions
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, and enterprise systems
  • Perform data validation and ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting outputs
  • Optimize application performance, including load times, data refresh processes, and front-end responsiveness
  • Implement best practices for Qlik architecture, data modeling, and visualization design
  • Support deployment, testing, and maintenance of Qlik applications in production environments
  • Provide user training and support to ensure adoption and effective use of Qlik dashboards
  • Document data models, dashboard logic, and development processes for maintainability

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three (3) or more years of experience developing dashboards and analytics solutions
  • Experience in data modeling, scripting, and ETL development within Qlik environments
  • Experience in SQL and experience working with relational databases and large datasets
  • Experience integrating data from multiple sources, including enterprise systems and flat files
  • Experience building dashboards that support operational or mission-focused analysis (logistics, maintenance, readiness preferred)
  • Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments
  • Experience supporting government or defense clients (Navy experience preferred)

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Qlik Sense dashboard development
  • Understanding of data visualization principles and best practices for user experience and storytelling
  • Ability to translate business requirements into efficient, scalable data models and dashboards
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Palantir Foundry, or similar ecosystems) is a plus
  • Advanced experience in the following skills: Data modeling and ETL scripting, SQL and data integration, Data visualization and storytelling, Performance optimization, Problem-solving and client communication
