Job description
Under direct supervision, support assessment, course evaluations, data reporting, and analytical functions through the collection, interpretation, monitoring, and analysis of data and information to inform decision-making across various program areas. Assist with survey and course evaluation development, administration, data collection, analysis, and evaluation activities, while responding to data requests and preparing reports for internal and external requestors. Responsible for compiling, editing, submitting, and ensuring compliance with institutional, regulatory, and ad hoc reporting requirements related to institutional operations. Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration, collection, monitoring, and analysis of surveys, course evaluations, and other assessment activities to support institutional effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Administer course evaluations and prepare course evaluation program reports.
- Assist in the design, administration, and analysis of surveys using platforms such as Qualtrics and other survey administration tools.
- Support assessment and evaluation initiatives by tracking outcomes, monitoring performance indicators, and assisting with the interpretation and communication of results.
- Compile, validate, analyze, and report data to support institutional, regulatory, accreditation, and compliance reporting requirements.
- Respond to internal and external ad hoc data requests by gathering, analyzing, and preparing data, reports, summaries, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and stakeholders across academic programs to identify data needs, define reporting requirements, and support assessment and evaluation projects.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and summarize findings, trends, and actionable insights to support operational planning and decision-making.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience administering, monitoring, and analyzing surveys, course evaluations, and/or other assessment activities in a higher education or research setting.
- Experience using survey and data collection platforms such as Qualtrics, or similar tools to design, distribute, and manage surveys.
- Experience collecting, validating, cleaning, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources.
- Experience responding to data requests by gathering, analyzing, and presenting information in a clear and accurate manner.
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, presentations, and data visualizations using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, SAS, R, or similar software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree degree in a related field is required.
Experience:
- Two (2) years of related experience is required.
This position may require the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per Texas EO-GA-48. Required Skills Two (2) years of related experience is required.
