Technical Skills
Microsoft Technologies
· Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016-2022 (2025 experience a plus)
· Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Remote Desktop Services
· Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID
· Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Defender, Conditional Access, MFA, and endpoint management
· Microsoft Azure services including virtual machines, networking, backup, disaster recovery, and hybrid cloud environments
· PowerShell scripting and automation
Virtualization & Infrastructure
· VMware vSphere/ESXi administration and support
· Hyper-V management
· Storage, high availability, and disaster recovery planning
Networking
· TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, and wireless networking
· Troubleshooting network performance, connectivity, and security issues
· Experience with Cisco, Ubiquiti, Aruba, Fortinet, or Meraki environments preferred
Cybersecurity
· Firewall administration and endpoint security management
· Microsoft Defender and Sophos solutions
· Vulnerability management, patching, ransomware response, and security best practices
· MFA, Conditional Access, and incident response experience
Backup & Disaster Recovery
· Backup implementation, monitoring, testing, and recovery
· Experience with Veeam, Datto, Nakivo, Synology, or Azure Backup preferred
VoIP & Unified Communications
· Deployment and support of cloud and on-premises VoIP solutions
· Microsoft Teams Phone, SIP trunking, call routing, auto attendants, and QoS
· Experience with RingCentral, 8x8, Zoom Phone, GoTo Connect, 3CX, or similar platforms preferred
End-User Support
· Advanced troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, servers, printers, and peripheral hardware
· Device deployment, imaging, and lifecycle management
Experience Requirements
· Minimum 5 years of IT support experience in business environments
· Minimum 3 years of Microsoft 365 administration experience
· Minimum 3 years of Windows Server administration experience
· Minimum 3 years of VMware administration experience
· Experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior technicians
· Strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred Certifications
· Microsoft Azure Administrator
· Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator
· CompTIA Network+ or Security+
· VMware VCP
· Cisco CCNA
· Sophos Certified Engineer

· Valid Virginia driver's license required
Education
· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
· Equivalent experience and industry certifications will be considered

· Overtime, This position offers a compensation package that reflects the complexity of the role. Pay will be based on skill level, experience, certifications, leadership experience, and the ability to successfully perform senior-level technical and customer-facing responsibilities.
Pay: $75,379.27 - $90,779.34 per year, * 401(k)
