Job description
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning and AI solutions that drive business impact across healthcare-focused domains. This role will focus heavily on building predictive models, implementing agentic AI workflows, and leveraging modern techniques such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to enhance model performance and decision-making capabilities., * Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights and support strategic decision-making
- Design, develop, and train machine learning models (supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, reinforcement learning)
- Build and implement agentic AI workflows for autonomous task execution
- Apply RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques to improve AI model outputs
- Fine-tune pre-trained models for domain-specific performance optimization
- Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and validation to ensure data quality
- Deploy and monitor AI/ML models in production environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, analytics) to integrate AI solutions
- Support business initiatives such as improving star ratings, reducing care gaps, and enhancing operational efficiency
- Present complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Mentor junior data scientists and support project delivery
- Stay current on AI/ML advancements and apply emerging techniques
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist (healthcare experience preferred)
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R
- Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch)
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling and ML algorithms (k-NN, SVM, Naive Bayes, neural networks)
- Experience with Agentic AI workflows and autonomous systems
- Hands-on experience with RAG techniques
- Experience fine-tuning machine learning models
- Strong data handling skills (SQL, NoSQL, ETL, data warehousing)
- Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark)
- Familiarity with SDLC and data engineering concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with unstructured data and complex problem spaces
- PhD OR equivalent advanced experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure AI Studio)
- Background in NLP and/or computer vision
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
