As the Application Support Engineer, you will provide technical and functional customer support of our various software applications through phone support and in-person & remote customer training., Provide remote, in-house, and on-site customer training and support on machine operation, process optimization, and CAD/CAM programming softwareDelivering remote, in-house, and on-site training to customers requires an average of 25% travel, with the potential for higher levels as neededCollaborate cross-functionally to develop new product lines prior to launchingManage enhancement and bug fix lists and test software after changes and upgradesDatabase development (Laser focused)Effectively communicate during extensive interaction with customersDevelop knowledge base articles and other training materials Conduct equipment, software demonstrations and presentations to prospective customersWork closely with other departments to ensure products are delivered on time and meet all customer requirementsParticipate in continuous improvement projects and proactively maintain collaborative relationshipsSupport a global network by effective communication skills across geographic, cultural, cross-functional, and organizational differencesAttend trade shows to represent the company and products

Associates Degree in related field preferred3 or more years of experience with laser cutting machinery preferredExperience cleaning and changing laser cutting headsDatabase/Parameter developmentAdvanced understanding of G&M code, AutoCAD or SOLIDWORKS experience preferredKnowledge of CNC equipment preferredKnowledge of material handling systems preferredProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work collaboratively and independently, with good organizational skills and the flexibility and adaptability to work on multiple projects with exceptional attention to detailStrong communication and presentation skills requiredSelf-starter with determination for completing tasksA valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required
