Job description
The Candidate will collaborate with suppliers and Customers, participate in working groups and gain design requirements approval from our customers. A working knowledge of aircraft sub-systems and system level mission capabilities is required., * Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline AND 2 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 0 year of related professional/military experience
- Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company.
- Must have experience with Systems Engineering V-Model of development.
- Must have knowledge of DOORS, * Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline AND 5 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 3 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 1 year of related professional/military experience

- Experience leading and coordinating medium sized technical teams.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience with direct interface and collaboration with customer representatives.
- Experience supporting Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events
- Experience with the Atlassian tool Suite (Jira, Confluence)
Benefits & conditions
Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
