Job description
Seeking a highly motivated Cybersecurity Engineer with strong technical expertise in deploying, managing, and supporting enterprise cybersecurity technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate operational excellence, strong analytical skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Implement and support cybersecurity technologies, including CyberArk, Tenable, and related security products.
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades to support cybersecurity initiatives and application growth.
- Determine and recommend system architecture for cybersecurity deployments.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain cybersecurity systems and platforms.
- Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders during technology implementations.
- Develop technical documentation, operational procedures, and training materials.
- Perform patching, maintenance, and lifecycle management activities for security platforms.
- Provide production support, including off-hours and on-call support when required.
- Transport and install server equipment as necessary.
Requirements
- Strong experience deploying and managing enterprise cybersecurity technologies.
- Experience with tools such as Trend Micro Antivirus, RSA SecureID, Splunk, CyberArk, and Tenable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong documentation and procedural writing abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound business judgment.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various company locations.
- Ability to lift and transport server equipment when required.
Must-Have Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience managing Splunk Enterprise Security.
- Experience with cybersecurity infrastructure deployment and administration.
- Experience with security patching, maintenance, and operational support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Utilities industry.
- Experience supporting critical infrastructure and regulated environments.
- Knowledge of NERC CIP compliance requirements.
