Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including:

  • Networking fundamentals
  • Operating systems (Windows and Linux)
  • Common attack types and defensive controls
  • Familiarity with security tools or concepts such as vulnerability scanners, SIEMs, IDS/IPS, or endpoint security
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science or information systems
  • Experience with Windows, UNIX and/or Linux operating systems.

Desired but not Required

  • Internship, lab, academic, or personal project experience in cybersecurity or IT

  • Exposure to vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus) or log analysis

  • Basic scripting or programming familiarity (PowerShell, Python, Bash, SQL)

  • Entry-level cybersecurity certifications such as:

  • CompTIA Security+

  • Network+
