Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Android App Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to support rapid prototyping and development of modern mobile applications, particularly optimized for small-screen user experiences in downtown San Francisco. You will work on cutting-edge products and technologies. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary experts across mobile, embedded, and system domains. You have the opportunity to drive innovation through rapid prototyping and development, * Design and develop Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Build rapid prototypes and proofs-of-concept for new product ideas, focusing on fast iteration cycles
- Create intuitive, responsive UIs optimized for small-screen devices
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (UX, backend, embedded teams)
- Translate product requirements into functional and scalable mobile solutions
- Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and usability of applications
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Debug and resolve issues related to application behavior and performance
Maintain clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices
Requirements

5+ years of experience in Android application development

Strong proficiency in:

Kotlin

Jetpack Compose
Experience building and deploying Android apps end-to-end
Experience with rapid prototyping / MVP development
Strong focus on UI/UX for constrained or small displays
Proficiency with version control systems (Git), * Experience with edge devices, embedded systems, or connected products
- Familiarity with Android frameworks and services for scalable applications.
- Knowledge of performance optimization and memory management
- Experience working in an engineering services or consulting environment
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Benefits & conditions
- The annual salary range for this role is $100,000 - $175,000 per year.
- The Annual Salary depends upon various job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand. This range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
