Job description
- Lead the enterprise common data model across conceptual, logical, and physical layers.
- Define and enforce modeling standards, metadata conventions, and canonical entities.
- Resolve semantic and definitional conflicts across business units and systems.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business SMEs to align business concepts with enterprise models.
- Improve interoperability across ERP, PLM, MES, MRO, IoT, analytics, and AI platforms.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise, regulatory, and security requirements.
- Mentor data modelers and architects to improve modeling maturity.
- Communicate modeling strategy and recommendations to all levels, including executives.

Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Experience in data modeling, data architecture, or ontology/knowledge graph development.
- Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical modeling and canonical data design.
- Proficiency with ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, Hackolade, or similar tools.
- Strong skills in SQL, SPARQL, Cypher, and relational/NoSQL databases.
- Experience integrating data across ERP, PLM, MES, MRO, IoT, analytics, or AI systems.
- Ability to enforce standards, resolve semantic conflicts, and influence stakeholders.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with ITAR, DFARS, ISO, or similar compliance frameworks.
- Experience with data fabric, data mesh, Lakehouse architectures, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Background supporting digital thread, digital twin, and AI/ML programs.
- Experience mentoring or leading data modeling teams.

- And more!, The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
