Job description
As the core team of TikTok Shop, Content Data Science team focuses on improving user-side product experience, user interaction, and transaction conversion of shoppable content. We study how users discover, consume, and interact with shoppable content, and how these behaviors ultimately drive purchasing decisions. We work closely with Product, Operation, Recommendation, and Engineering teams to use data and experimentation to optimize content formats, interaction design, and distribution strategies. At the same time, we build scalable metrics frameworks, analytical methodologies, and data tools to support long-term decision making in the e-commerce content domain. Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for data analysis work related to TikTok Shop shoppable content and user growth business and provide insightful analytical capabilities for the business
- Accurately and comprehensively understand the business, assist in setting business growth goals, decompose key achievement paths, and implement robust process monitoring and early warning measures
- Dissect the driving factors of business growth, diagnose growth-related issues, investigate and attribute data anomalies, and build automated anomaly attribution tools
- Conduct special analysis on critical issues, gain insights into the essence of problems, and propose data-driven optimization suggestions or solutions
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and collaboration skills; partner with product R&D, data and algorithm teams to support strategy iteration through rigorous analysis, data mining, causal inference, A/B testing and other methods, drive the implementation of optimization plans, quantitatively evaluate strategy effectiveness, and boost key business metrics

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields, with 5+ years of work experience

Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as SQL, Python and R; mastery of analytical methods including regression, classification, clustering, machine learning, A/B testing and causal inference

Excellent communication and logical thinking skills, with structured thinking, acute data insight, rigorous attention to detail and a strong sense of curiosity
