Job description

The Enterprise Architecture Governance team is seeking a ServiceNow engineer to support the design, implementation, automation, and continuous improvement of governance processes, workflows, and reporting across the firm's Enterprise Architecture ecosystem., Additionally, the role will contribute to AI-driven process improvements by leveraging ServiceNow AI and Microsoft Copilot to enhance efficiency, generate insights, and enable a more data-driven, scalable governance model aligned with regulatory and risk requirements., 1. ServiceNow Development & Engineering

  • Design, build, and maintain ServiceNow APM solutions, including application onboarding, lifecycle management, and compliance tracking
  • Configure and extend data models (APM, CMDB, CSDM), workflows, forms, and governance pipelines
  • Develop scripts (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes) and automations using Flow Designer
  • Build integrations using REST APIs and IntegrationHub
  • Create dashboards and performance analytics for application portfolio visibility, lifecycle tracking, and risk insights
  • Ensure scalable, high-performing, and maintainable platform solutions
  1. Enterprise Architecture Governance Enablement
  • Support governance processes such as onboarding workflows, ARB reviews, and stage-gated approvals
  • Maintain application inventory, ownership, and classification data
  • Contribute to initiatives including application rationalization, lifecycle tracking, and standards compliance
  • Partner with architecture, IAM, risk, and control teams to ensure accurate data and audit readiness
  1. Automation, AI & Process Optimization
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using ServiceNow, Flow Designer, and Power Platform tools
  • Leverage Microsoft Copilot and ServiceNow AI to generate insights, summaries, and workflow improvements
  • Enable intelligent analysis of APM and CMDB data for better decision-making
  • Enhance governance processes through automated validations, notifications, and reporting
  • Balance innovation with strong governance, auditability, and platform standards
  1. Stakeholder Engagement & Documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive adoption of governance solutions
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories
  • Maintain documentation, reporting artifacts, and data definitions
  • Support governance meetings and ongoing process improvements

Requirements

This role is ideal for a hands-on ServiceNow developer with strong analytical skills and experience in enterprise architecture, application portfolio management (APM), or technology governance. The engineer will maintain and enhance ServiceNow-based solutions, improve data quality, and automate governance activities while partnering with stakeholders across architecture, risk, operations, and product teams., * 4-6 years of experience in ServiceNow development, APM, enterprise architecture, or governance-related roles

  • Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end ServiceNow solutions
  • Experience with workflows, reporting, and structured data in regulated environments
  • Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams (architecture, development, risk, operations)

Technical Skills:

  • Strong ServiceNow expertise (APM, CMDB, scripting, Flow Designer, integrations)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript; familiarity with SQL or other scripting tools is a plus
  • Experience with dashboards, reporting, and performance analytics
  • Understanding of platform governance and SDLC practices

Preferred:

  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD)
  • Experience with Power Platform and Microsoft Copilot
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, or CSDM
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries

Education:

*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

Benefits & conditions

The typical base pay range for this role is as follows:

  • New York / New Jersey: $125k - $160k

depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation. Our hybrid work schedule is four days on-site and work remotely one day per week.
