Job description
- Perform day-to-day administration, monitoring, and support of ALLO Fiber's GCP infrastructure and services.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles, permissions, and security policies within the cloud environment.
- Actively track, analyze, and report on GCP usage and billing to support ongoing cost-optimization initiatives.
- Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining cloud resources and AI tools.
- Maintain and update internal cloud governance documentation, knowledge bases, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the broader IT Service Management (ITSM) and software development teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 emergency support.
Requirements
- Formal GCP Cloud foundations training via Cloud Skills Boost or equivalent.
- A foundational understanding of general cloud computing concepts for GCP.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Exceptional communication skills and a customer and team-first mindset.
- Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., CLI, Bash, or Terraform).
- Familiarity with IT Service Management platforms (like Jira Service Management) and cloud billing analysis.
- A completed undergraduate degree (bachelor's degree or equivalent) in any field of study, which has helped build strong foundational skills in critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and structured communication.
