Job description

As a Senior Software Engineer in Test, you will play a hands-on role in ensuring product quality across our digital asset platform. Working closely with engineers, product owners, and architects, you will design and implement automated testing solutions, working towards our testing frameworks, and help drive quality throughout the development lifecycle. You'll have opportunities to deepen your technical skills, collaborate across teams, and grow within a fast paced and innovative environment.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with test automation using languages such as Java, and frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber, JUnit, or Spring Boot Test
  • Proficiency in databases, SQL, data validation, and understanding how to test data workflows
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms, and containerization technologies such as Docker or ECS
  • Experience building and maintaining end-to-end and integration tests across distributed or microservice-based systems
  • Experience working with version control systems like GIT
  • Proven understanding of Agile development processes and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices
  • Experience with AI-assisted test generation to improve automation coverage and efficiency would be a plus

  • A proven foundation in software engineering or test automation - bachelor's degree + preferred, 5 years' experience
  • Ability to advocate for quality and influence peers through collaboration and technical reasoning
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate test approaches to engineers, product partners, and leadership
  • Experience with requirements review, defect analysis, working with distributed teams, and assisting test reporting
  • Analytical approach with the ability to diagnose issues and perform root-cause analysis
  • Adaptability, eagerness to learn new tools and internal platforms, and dedication to delivering high-quality solutions

Please see the below pay rate range for the work location of Massachusetts only: $60.00-$85.00 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
