Collins Aerospace's Strategic Solutions team is looking for an exceptionally motivated Engineer that is passionate about collaborating with High-Performance Teams to create mission critical solutions supporting Mission Systems.
Our Software Engineers work in an exciting, adaptive, and engaging environment enabling rapid learning to drive success. Our software engineers utilize a variety of skills on a regular basis including requirements analysis, development and delivery of high-quality mission critical software. This position will support the shaping of the future of NC3 defense systems for the armed forces.
What You Will Do:
- You will team up with a high-performance software team, collaborating with fellow
- Software engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Software Architects, and other teams.
- You will support requirements decomposition and derivation to produce Software Requirements.
- You will participate in the design of the capabilities producing UML and SysML diagrams.
- You will be responsible for producing high quality mission critical software.
- You will participate in code and related artifacts peer reviews.
- You will create test cases and tests

Requirements
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Good foundation in Object Oriented Programing and Java.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Knowledge in UML, SysML, MBSE and CAMEO Modeling tools.
- Knowledge in requirements analysis, requirements decomposition and derivation.
- Knowledge in virtualization.
- Knowledge in microservices, containers and orchestrators.

- And more!, The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
