Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Staff Developer to join our innovative technology team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable enterprise solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and architectural best practices. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate developer eager to influence system architecture and deliver impactful solutions across diverse platforms., * Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through deployment, ensuring adherence to best practices in system design and architecture.

  • Develop and maintain scalable distributed systems utilizing microservices architecture, cloud computing platforms (such as AWS or Azure), and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs, web services, and service-oriented architectures (SOA) to facilitate seamless integration across applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications using UML diagrams, design patterns, and enterprise solution frameworks.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and other version control tools.
  • Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies such as NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra), front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Ember.js), and cloud architecture strategies to enhance system performance and scalability.
  • Mentor junior developers by sharing expertise on software architecture principles, distributed computing, and best practices in Agile methodologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing and developing large-scale enterprise applications with a strong understanding of software architecture and distributed systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of programming languages including Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, and Perl.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure; familiarity with cloud services like S3, WebSphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, and JBoss is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in modern front-end development frameworks including React, Angular, Bootstrap, Ext JS, Backbone.js, and Ember.js.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API development, SOAP web services, XML/JSON data formats, and system integration techniques.
  • Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL (PL/SQL), NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Experience implementing DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD; container orchestration using Kubernetes or Docker Swarm is a plus.
  • Knowledge of system design for scalability and high availability; experience with microservices architecture is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with effective communication abilities; ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams.
